Quetiapine Side Effect?

After taking Quetiapine I sometimes experience a really unpleasant sensation which is psychologically (but not physically) akin to the experience of being tickled but unable to laugh or wriggle. It feels like being extremely tense and wanting to kick and scream but thrashing around does not seem to reduce the feeling of anxiety. It's extremely unpleasant, worse even the deepest depression or piercing your ear drum. When I mentioned this to my psychiatrist he said that it's not a documented side effect of my medication yet this only seems to happen after taking Quetiapine. This is a drug that I only take just before bed, so the sensation may be caused by something else but I doubt it. I never experience this feeling before taking my meds at night, even when I have late nights and the worse instance of this feeling was when a nurse woke me up to take a blood test after I'd overdosed on Quetiapine 18 months ago.

If there is anyone reading this who takes Quetiapine then please can you let me know whether or not you can relate to this experience. Do you suffer from anything similar?

I used to take Quetiapine too, but I stopped it after really unpleasant side effects.

I took it at night and it stopped me from being able to get to sleep.

Do a search for Restless Leg Syndrome. I got the worst imaginable sensation that I couldnt be still, even for a second. I found myself constantly moving around and words cant convey how nightmarish it felt.
